The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will use the fourth One-Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and England on October 25 to promote breast cancer awareness. A campaign to promote early diagnosis and timely treatment of the illness will involve players, match officials, and broadcasters. As part of its CSR efforts, the PCB is commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will glow pink during the game, which is a part of the tri-series that also includes Sri Lanka.

Campaign messages will be shown on the stadium’s enormous screens and LED perimeter boards, and pink-branded stumps will be used during the game as part of the awareness campaign. During the live broadcast, commentators will also stress the significance of raising awareness of breast cancer, which will help spread the word to viewers in Pakistan and around the globe.

The host players will appear in specially created video content that aims to inform the public about the availability of screening services and emphasise the significance of early breast cancer diagnosis. The videos are a part of the PCB’s larger initiative with Pink Ribbon Pakistan, which emphasises early detection, routine screening, and prompt treatment.

On October 24 and 26, the day before and day after the game, spectators can get a free breast cancer screening at the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Trust Hospital in Lahore. As a result, fans who attend the tri-series will have easy access to campaign-related medical services on both sides of the match.
